Thirsty Cat Festival at Catamount Mountain Resort!
Join us for Catamount’s biggest event of the summer season! The inaugural “Thirsty Cat” Beer, Wine and Music Festival brings together the best of the Berkshires! With over 50 draft beers and ciders, a variety of wines, 5 great bands over two days, craft vendors and tasty food options - there’s plenty to keep you busy for a few hours or for the whole event! The event is family-friendly, with a kid’s craft lemonade tasting, scenic chairlift rides, zip tours and the aerial adventure park all open during the event. While there’s no admission to attend the festival – those wishing to try beverages can buy tasting packages in advance (for a reduced price) or day-of. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets, but please keep pets and any outside alcohol at home! In addition to the main festival days of Saturday and Sunday, the event begins with a limited “preview” night on Friday, July 21st with some drafts available early during the weekly Friday Night Summer Music Series from 4:30 to 8:00pm.

Come sample 50+ varieties of craft beer and ciders from the best local and regional breweries — PLUS over a dozen varieties of wine! We will also have a kids craft lemonade tasting tent - the perfect option for kids and those designated drivers looking to enjoy the festival and take home a souvenir from the event! Indulge in delicious foods! We will have multiple food vendors on-site, along with crispy chicken wings and gourmet wood-fired pizzas being served up by our Catamount food and beverage staff.
Scenic Chairlift Rides
Our Scenic Chairlift will be running throughout both days of the event. Ride the Glade Triple up to the summit to take in the beautiful views of the surrounding areas, including the Berkshires and Hudson Valley. Purchase your scenic chairlift ride online in advance. Tickets will be available on-site, subject to availability.
Zip Tour and Aerial Adventure Park
Our Zip Tour and Aerial Park will operate throughout the festival. Take a break from the festival activities and try your hand at one of our 9 aerial adventure courses or ride the longest zipline in the country! These activities have strict capacity limitations so advance reservations are highly suggested, as we anticipate these activities to sell out in advance for the festival dates.
