Freestyle Program 22/23


Season long program for ages 7-17

Freestyle is a season long program that provides kids of intermediate and expert abilities the consistency and group environment they need to learn new skills and develop a more open understanding of the freestyle way.

Every weekend from December 17, 2022 - March 12, 2023. 

Meeting each Saturday, Sunday, and during holiday periods (excluding Christmas day 12/25/22 but inclusive of 12/26-12/30/22, 1/16/23 and 2/20-2/24/23)



FreeStyle meets every weekend beginning Saturday, December 17th and will conclude March 12th. Sessions run from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm each Saturday, Sunday and during Holiday Periods, excluding 12/25. Groups meet in the Berkshire Room ready to rip at 9:30 AM in the Berkshire Lodge.

This seasonal program is for all mountain skiers/riders ages 7-17 years old who wish to expand their freeriding skills.  Various skiing/riding terrain will be explored, including (conditions permitting) riding switch, boxes, rails, ollis, nollis, taps, trees and a whole bunch of other fun stuff.  The main focus circling around Smart Style; an industry-wide set of freestyle standards and park etiquette.  Participants can expect to have a lot of fun learning the ins & outs of Catamount as a whole while gaining a marked experience that will be remembered for life!

FreeStyle skiers need to be comfortable skiing backwards and skiing all terrain on the mountain closed track parallel.

FreeStyle boarders need to be comfortable riding switch and carving on blue terrain, and linking turns on blue/black terrain.

Helmets are required for all program participants.

Please note that lunch is not included but will be supervised. You can opt into our season long lunch program: 2 snacks and lunch daily for $400

Additional Information:

This product is subject to change based on the season, it is dependent upon when the season begins and ends, dates may change, but the cost of the program will not be prorated, no refunds will be given.

If your child comes to the program and is not able to meet the skiing or riding ability level described, the option will be given to move to the Adventurers Program to keep building their skill level (as long as they meet the ability level for that program) or to take a few Mountain Cats lessons (at an extra charge) to hold their space to gain the necessary skills to move back into the group.  If they do not gain the skills necessary to meet the ability level of the group, the cost of only the program will be used to book lessons through Mountain Cats for the child.
