Winters are healthier and more fun when we get out and play in the snow.
Beginning on January 5th (with the exception of February 23rd, during the President’s Week holiday period), Catamount Mountain Resort offers Women's Wednesdays, a series of supportive and challenging ski and snowboard clinics for women, taught by PSIA/AASI-certified instructors.
The two-hour clinics are tailored to address each individual's experience level and aspirations, from those just starting or restarting to those wishing to improve on steeper terrain in all conditions. The program includes video analysis of participants’ skiing and riding and a complementary hot beverage.
"This collaborative program emphasizes fun and friendship as we work to become better skiers and snowboarders," says Jenny Post, program director. "Confidence on the snow is a necessary ingredient for improvement and Women's Wednesdays offers just the right blend of encouragement, skill development and challenge. When we feel confident, great things happen and winter's suddenly a lot more fun."
Each Women's Wednesday begins at 10 am with advanced registration encouraged.
The six-of-eight Wednesdays package costs $299 without a season pass. The program is $199 for season pass holders. A single day can be purchased for $55 without a season pass and for $45 with a season pass. Rentals are $55 for one day, or $199 for six weeks.
