Mountain Vista Farm to Table Dinner

Join us up on the mountain for an al fresco local farm-to-table dinner experience featuring local chef Benjamin Bruckenthal, Hudson Valley & Berkshire-grown ingredients, and breathtaking views of the Berkshires and Hudson Valley.

Guests will enjoy a chair lift ride up to the top of the Catamount Quad where they will be greeted with cocktails, local wines, and a few passed bites. Guests will sit for dinner to enjoy the sunset and four courses prepared by our featured local chef with seasonal ingredients.

The event is on Saturday, July 12th. Seats for the dinner begin at $125 (plus tax) for the first 25 seats, $150 for the next 50 seats, and $175 for the final 25 seats.

The evening's schedule is as follows:

  • The chairlift will begin taking guests up to the mountain vista location at 5:15pm. If you would like to arrive early, the Summer Music Series will begin at the base of the mountain at 5:00pm and Fat Cat will be open for drinks.
  • There will be welcome cocktails, wine, and passed hors d'oeuvres from 6:00-7:00pm.
  • At 7:00pm, guests will sit down for the first course of dinner, with three additional courses to follow. Wine will be available during dinner.
  • Dinner is expected to end between 8:30 and 9:00pm at which time guests will take the chairlift back down the mountain.

 

About Chef Benjamin Bruckenthal:

Benjamin Bruckenthal is the chef, baker and owner of The Farmers Feast Inc. and Lightforce Bakery. Both businesses are housed in The Philmont Cooperative located in Philmont, NY. After attending college in Poughkeepsie, he made the Hudson Valley his home and has never looked back. He has a deep passion for the local agriculture and food world that the area offers. He has a focus on fresh, raw ingredients that are available during their respective harvest seasons and uses them as a base of his farm to table approach to cooking.

Additional Information and FAQ's

  • This is an outdoor event that will require some walking on gravel and uneven surfaces as well as loading and unloading on a charlift. Please choose your footwear accordingly.
  • Ticket sales will end three days prior to the dinner.
  • In the case of inclement weather, the dinner will be moved into the Catamount Lodge.
  • Facilities will be available at the mountain vista location up on the mountain.
