4-Hour Flex Tickets: Available during both midweek and weekend time periods. Valid for any 4-hours of the day starting with first use.

Night Tickets

Night tickets are valid Wednesday through Saturday from 3pm to close when night skiing is operating. Night skiing hours are 3pm-8pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays and 3pm-9pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

RFID Cards

Catamount uses reloadable RFID cards for all lift tickets, season passes, rentals, and lessons. If you’re visiting for the first time, you’ll need to purchase a $5 RFID card during checkout. Hang on to it! With good care, your card can be reloaded online and used for many seasons. If you misplace or forget it, a $5 replacement fee will apply.

Using Your RFID Card
Place your RFID card in a pocket on either side of your body. It does not need to be visible. The card will be automatically scanned as you pass through the access gates at each chairlift. Please keep your card in its own pocket and carry only one RFID card at a time to ensure proper scanning.

FLEXIBLE PRICING MODEL

Lift ticket prices vary based on demand and the number of tickets available each day of the season.

  • Buy early to lock in the lowest available rate
  • If you have flexible travel plans, midweek and non-holiday visits offer the best value
  • Prices increase over time and as ticket quantities decrease
  • Last-minute or day-of rates will vary, and some days may sell out completely.

LIFT TICKET TERMS

All Catamount Lift tickets are date-specific and nonrefundable. Tickets unable to be used on the designated day of issuance at purchase may be used on another day during the 26/27 winter season. Lift Ticket FAQs

Q: How much are lift tickets at Catamount?

A: Lift ticket prices at Catamount follow a flexible pricing model that changes based on demand and how many tickets remain for a given day. Buying online and in advance typically gets the lowest rate, and midweek or non-holiday visits tend to offer the best value.

Q: Are lift tickets cheaper if I buy them online in advance?

A: Yes, buying lift tickets online ahead of time saves money compared to walking up to the ticket window on the day of your visit. Prices rise as the date gets closer and as ticket quantities for that day decrease, and some days can sell out completely.

Q: What's the difference between a Full-Day, 4-Hour Flex, and Night ticket?

A: A Full-Day ticket is valid from opening until 4pm, while a 4-Hour Flex ticket covers any 4-hour window starting from first use, on midweek or weekend days. Night tickets run Wednesday through Saturday from 3pm to close during night skiing season, which typically runs into mid-March.

Q: Do I need to buy an RFID card every time I visit?

A: No, Catamount's RFID cards are reloadable, so returning guests can reload an existing card online instead of buying a new one. First-time visitors pay a $5 fee for a new card, and a $5 replacement fee applies if it's lost.

Q: How does the RFID card work at the lifts?

A: The RFID card is scanned automatically as you pass through the access gates at each chairlift, so it doesn't need to be visible. We recommend keeping your RFID card in its own pocket and carrying only one card at a time so it scans correctly.

Q: Are Catamount lift tickets refundable if I can't make my date?

A: Lift tickets are date-specific and nonrefundable, but an unused ticket can typically be rescheduled to another day within the same winter season. Rescheduling requires a phone call before the end of business the prior day, and a $20 change fee applies per ticket.

Q: Are lift tickets free for young children or seniors?

A: Yes, Full-Day tickets are free for children ages 6 and under and seniors ages 80 and older. These complimentary tickets have to be picked up in person at the ticket window or customer service desk rather than purchased online.

Q: What happens to my lift ticket if I don't use it by the end of the season?

A: Unused lift tickets expire at the end of the winter season with no refunds or credits issued. This applies to discounted, promotional, and group-sale tickets as well, which are also non-transferable.

Q: Can I use the same lift ticket for skiing and other Catamount activities?

A: Lift tickets are specifically for lift access rather than other on-mountain activities. We uses the same RFID card system across lift tickets, season passes, rentals, and lessons, but each is purchased and tracked separately.
