KNOW BEFORE YOU GO!

The crew at Catamount Mountain Resort prides itself on providing the best conditions no matter what the weather. We've invested heavily in snow making and grooming in the last 18 months, adding almost 200 snow making machines, 3 grooming machines including a new Prinoth Leitwolf, 4 retention ponds, 3 pumps, and 5 miles of snow making pipe.

OPERATIONAL UPDATE FOR WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 28TH: Due to the forecasted inclement weather with rain and warmer temperatures, Catamount will suspend operations for the day.  This will allow us to stay off the snowpack and re-open on Thursday at 9am for day and night skiing.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

We will be reopening tomorrow, Thursday, February 29th, from 9am-8pm with up to 33 trails open and 3 lifts in operation: The Ridge Quad, Meadows Triple, and Learning Area Carpet. Trail count is subject to change after ski patrol asseses conditions in the morning.

The Snow Tubing Park is closed mid-week, but will reopen on Friday. Purchase your tickets online here - walk-ins will not be allowed during sold out sessions.

Looking for the best deal to ski the rest of the season - our Spring Equinox Pass offers unlimited skiing and riding from March 1st through the end of the 23/24 season. PLUS apply $75 of the purchase price towards a 24/25 season pass if purchased by 3/31/24.

24/25 Catamount Season Passes go on sale starting March 1st!

Uphill traffic is allowed during operating hours on our designated uphill routes only. You may travel uphill before operating hours but descent has to be when the mountain has opened its lifts to the public. There are two uphill routes available:

  • Route 1: Lower Promenade to Upper Promenade to Ridge Run
  • Route 2: Lower Sidewinder to Upper Sidewinder

In case of an on-mountain emergency, please call ski patrol at 413-232-9405

Please note that conditions reports after 2pm represent a projection of Catamount's snow conditions and operating plan for the following day.  As always, these reports represent a snapshot in time and are subject to change at any time.
