Catamount Mountain Resort is a four-season resort straddling the New York and Massachusetts border just about 2.5 hours from NYC. With its sister resort, Berkshire East, Catamount is one fun mountain with some of the best steeps in southern New England AND some of the best beginner and intermediate terrain. Catamount has undergone a stunning transformation since the summer of 2018. A new lift, new lodge, hundreds of new snow making machines, four snow making ponds, miles of pipe, and countless other upgrades make Catamount one of the best small ski areas on the East coast!
Featuring the some of the most skiable terrain in Massachusetts, North America's longest zip line, one of the largest aerial adventure parks on the East coast, whitewater rafting trips in Vermont, Massachusetts and Connecticut and lots of facilities to host your event or to warm up in after a great day on the slopes. Catamount offers a mountain getaway for everyone.
Bring the kids for summertime fun, your friends for wintertime riding, or the entire staff for a corporate retreat that goes beyond the boardroom. We are close to beautiful Great Barrington, the Berkshires, Hudson, Tanglewood, Mass MOCA, the Clark Art Museum, and many more cool hill towns, activities, restaurants and fun for you and yours.
